This is the first of several necklaces using the torch-work beads from Lesley McIver (www.glitz.co.nz).
This set of beads was made using a glass called "Circus Tent", with fine silver dots and trails. I ran across some black fresh-water pearls while cruising my favorite site for pearls (inexpensive pearls, but not cheap), and something went ‘click’. I have several more bead sets from Ms McIver, and they will start making appearances in the next month. (I went on a torch work glass spree in July, and now that it’s August, I have to quit looking at them on my work table and do something with them.)
This necklace is hand-knotted, 27 inches long, with a lobster-claw clasp.
