This necklace and earrings set is made of small tumbled Aquamarine nuggets, black Swarovski glass, and a few silver heishi, just for flavor. The necklace is 23 inches long, strung on beading wire, with a 1½ inch pendant. The earrings are just under 2½ inches long.
Aquamarine, along with Pearls, are considered in legend to be the favored gems of Poseidon/Neptune and the Tritons and Mermaids of his court. Greek and Roman sailors often wore Aquamarine to ask the Sea Golds to grant them calm sailing.
